Whispers of Another War

A bookshelf of mementos and honors testify to the 36 years that retired Air Force Gen. Charles Horner served his country from 1958�1994. During his career he flew combat missions over Vietnam in F-105s, for which he earned a Silver Star, and had several commands, including Space Command, North American Aerospace Defense Command, United States Air Forces Central Command and 9th Air Force.
