Maj. Sahar Ahmad, an Afghan student pilot at the 81st Fighter Squadron, Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, holds a handkerchief made by his fianc� who still lives in Afghanistan. Ahmad is training to be one of the country's first fighter pilots.
