Maintaining Red Flag
A KC-135 Stratotanker from McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas, approaches the flight line during Red Flag 15-2 at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada on March 2, 2014. When the in-air refueling aircraft lands, it returns to the care of the maintainers. Their job is to perform any required maintenance to prepare it for the next mission. The KC-135 aircrews have provided all of the in-air refueling tasks for sorties at Red Flag 15-2 to meet exercise objectives. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Vernon Young Jr.)
